MORENO VALLEY>> The all-girl cyber security team was recently recognized again for its achievements. They have received many accolades in the past. This time their recognition came from the floor of the State Assembly and Senate in Sacramento.

The MVUSD all-girl cyber security team, along with other high school students from across the state, shared their knowledge with a variety of state officials. The team met members of the governor’s office to discuss cyber security, interviewed with a local television station and spoke with members of the state senate and house. The 2016-17 school year was the first year of participation in the National CyberPatriot program for the team and they placed first in their division at a state competition. The visit to the capitol continued the momentum generated by the Cyber Innovation Challenge in June.
