For residents looking for a furry friend to bring home, many local shelters are giving away 100 free pet adoptions for the 2016 #Steinorth100 Pet Adoption Fair between Aug.5-7. Those interested in bringing home a new companion can join Assemblyman Marc Steinorth and Supervisor Josie Gonzales Aug. 5 at the Devore Animal Shelter, located at 19777 Shelter Way, San Bernardino, CA 92407. The first 100 pet adoptions will be free at each of the following shelters: Devore Animal Shelter, San Bernardino City Shelter, Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care & Adoption Center and the Redlands Animal Shelter. Each shelter will also have information about legislation that impacts animal welfare. For more information, call 909.476.5023.
