The Moreno Valley Master Chorale and Orchestra would like to invite community singers — particularly sopranos — to join in preparing for the “Music of the Masters” concert, slated to be performed April 6 in Moreno Valley. Under the direction of Dr. Viorel Gheorghe, this concert will feature Schubert’s “Mass in G” and Mozart’s “Ave Verum,” as well as other favorite works from the classical era. In addition to performing in Moreno Valley, the Chorale and Orchestra plan to travel to Kresge Chapel at Claremont School of Theology and perform a special concert there on April 2 at 4:15 p.m. New singers may join the Chorale any Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the choir room at Valley View High School, 13135 Nason Street, just south of the Stone Ridge Shopping Center, at the corner of Eucalyptus Street. Please visit the Chorale website at www.morenovalleymasterchorale.org or call 951-485-8414 for more information.
