Vanguard Art Gallery to Host Exhibition, Reception, Art Sale

The Vanguard Community Art Gallery will host an artists reception on Feb. 9, 4 and 6 p.m. for the Perspectives in Color Exhibition. Attendees will have the chance to meet the artists, view and/or purchase their work and listen to live music. Appetizers and beverages will be available during the reception. The show runs through March 18. On Feb. 7, the gallery will host a Poetry Reading and Moreno Valley Unified School District Student Artwork Show at the BerryBean Cafe on 22455 Alessandro Blvd., Suite 117, at 6 p.m. Student artwork will remain on display through the month of February and changed out for succeeding poetry readings held the first Friday of every month. Attendees are invited to bring original poetry to share. The gallery will also host the Inland Scribes writers group every other Sunday at 2 p.m. Upcoming meetings will be held Feb. 2, Feb. 16, March 2 and March 16.
