Moreno Valley Seeks Vendors

MORENO VALLEY>> The City of Moreno Valley is seeking vendors for its Fourth of July Family FunFest celebration that will be held on Tuesday, July 4 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at March Mountain Middle School and Morrison Park. More than 12,000 people are expected to attend the event, and applications are now being accepted for a variety of vendors including: food and beverages, arts and crafts, non-profit groups and others. Funfest vendor applications are available at the Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center, 14075 Frederick Street, or online at www.moval.org/fourth. The application deadline is set for Friday, April 28 at 4:30 p.m. Vendors will be selected through a lottery drawing. Vendors are required to submit a completed vendor application to the Parks and Community Services Department (PCSD) by Friday, April 28 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The City of Moreno Valley will conduct the vendor lottery on Tuesday, May 2 and vendors are welcome to attend, but attendance is not required to be selected. Selected vendors will be notified by phone on Wednesday, May 3. Selected vendors will be provided an appointment time between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9 to review and complete vendor paperwork. This year’s, Family FunFest will include live band performances from “So Rad,” “Latin Fusion” and “The MVPs.” FunFest will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m., which will be simulcast on radio station KOLA 99.9 FM. The City of Moreno Valley's Fourth of July Parade and Family Fun Fest are sponsored by Skechers, Waste Management, Les Schwab Tire Center, Duke Realty and The Sares-Regis Group.
