A Spooktacular Night for MoVal Teens

Moreno Valley teens looking for a festive way to celebrate Halloween can look forward to an evening filled with food, games, contests and plenty of spooky fun through an upcoming event hosted by the City of Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services Department.

Designed to give local young people a fun community activity during the Halloween season, the event will bring teens together for an evening that combines seasonal entertainment with opportunities to socialize and participate in organized activities.

Best of all for families, registration is free and dinner will be provided. Space is limited, however, so interested participants are encouraged to register early rather than waiting until the last minute.

Costumes can add to the Halloween atmosphere, but participants should pay close attention to several important event guidelines. A bag is required, and masks, props and heavy face paint are not permitted. These rules can help organizers maintain a safe and comfortable environment while still allowing participants to enjoy the spirit of the occasion.

Events geared specifically toward teenagers provide an important addition to a community's recreational calendar. Younger children often have numerous Halloween activities available to them, while teenagers can sometimes find themselves with fewer organized options. Creating a dedicated event gives teens a place to celebrate with friends while enjoying supervised activities within their own community.

The event also reflects the broader role of Moreno Valley's Parks & Community Services Department. Beyond maintaining parks and recreational facilities, the department provides programs intended to encourage residents of different ages to become involved, stay active and connect with their community.

With food, games, contests and Halloween festivities planned, the evening offers teens an opportunity to make memories with friends without families having to spend money on admission or dinner.

Because capacity is limited, families interested in participating should make registration a priority.

For questions or additional information, contact the Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services Department at 951-413-3280 or email TeenSpot@Moval.org.

As Halloween approaches, Moreno Valley's celebration offers local teens something that can be especially valuable: a safe place to gather, have fun and enjoy one of the most anticipated nights of the fall season right here in their own community.
