A Visit to: Flight Deck Bike Park

Moreno Valley has added another exciting destination for outdoor recreation, and for those who haven’t visited yet, it may be time to see what all the buzz is about. The Flight Deck Bike Park, the city’s newest park, invites residents to roll in, explore, and experience a one-of-a-kind cycling space designed with riders of all ages and skill levels in mind.

At the heart of the park is the largest Velosolutions pump track in Southern California, offering riders a flowing course designed to build rhythm, balance, and control. The park also introduces the region’s first adaptive track, creating a space where riders of different abilities can enjoy the experience together.

The features don’t stop there. Flight Deck Bike Park includes the first asphalt jump lines in Southern California, along with an asphalt bicycle playground built especially for younger riders. A one-thousand-foot connecting path adds another unique element, incorporating Ambient Glow Technology—sunlight-charged glow rocks embedded along the trail that illuminate the path after dark, marking the first use of this technology in Southern California.

Inspired by Moreno Valley’s aviation heritage, the park was thoughtfully designed to deliver a cycling experience that feels welcoming, engaging, and accessible for beginners and seasoned riders alike.

Residents can find the park at 13460 Morrison Street, located on the southern side of Morrison Park near the fire station. Motorized bikes and scooters are not permitted, though regular scooters and skateboards are welcome.

For those who haven’t stopped by yet, Flight Deck Bike Park offers a fresh reason to get outside, explore something new, and see firsthand what Moreno Valley’s newest park has to offer. For more information, visit moval.org/parks.
