Senior citizens of Moreno Valley recently held their bi-monthly swamp meet on March 7 at the Moreno Valley Senior Center. Everything from crafts, art and clothing were stacked on tables and racks. Charlene Ballew was one of the first vendors to arrive selling handmade jewelry. She said this was her first time at this event "I love helping people and I love making them happy." Priscilla Grosso a resident of Moreno Valley for 23 years said, "I have a lot of fun and I meet a lot of people." She also said she loves giving back to the community by coming to the Senior Center on her time off. Senior of the Month Bob Miles was shopping for some good deals. "I love the good deals and the tamales." Also with him was Karyn Ervin who said she comes to the center everyday. "It's a wonderful place to meet new people and to participate in events." She also added this Center just makes life better as a senior.
