March Field Air Museum will host an informational meeting on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. outlining its upcoming trip to Paris in June 2015 to the Paris Air Show. The meeting will be held in the Yeager Family Library. Museum Director Patricia Korzec and Museum Curator Jeff Houlihan will lead the ten day trip that includes three days at the world famous Paris Air Show in addition to sites in England and Normandy, France. “This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity to share experiences with other aviation enthusiasts and share inside stories with the museum’s curator,” says Korzec. Sites in England include: London’s War Museum, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Duxford’s Imperial War Museum. A trip to Normandy and the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach, along with the D-Day Museum due Debarquement are also scheduled. The trip allows for a few days in Paris to visit popular sites such as Les Invalides (Napoleon’s Tomb) and the Musee de Armee before returning home. Dates for the trip are June 15-25 and group size is limited to provide the best experience for museum travelers. Interested parties are encouraged to attend the informational meeting on Feb. 12 at the museum. Please contact Museum Director Patricia Korzec at 951-902-5599 for fees and schedule.
