Annual MASH Bash Kicks Off Oct. 5

March Field Air Museum is hosting its 29th annual MASH Bash on Saturday, Oct. 5. Travel on a journey back to the fictional 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Unit, made popular by the TV series “M*A*S*H.” This fun-filled, casual and entertaining evening includes dancing to the Latin Blues Project Band, and Father Mulcahy, Corporal Klinger, and Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan characters costume contests. Local restaurants providing samplings include Sweet B.O.B’s Bar-B-Que Restaurant, Chick-Fil-A, Saboreé Catering, Jose’s Mexican Food, Air Force Village West Catering, and Margarita’s Grill and Catering. Vindemia Winery will provide beverage samplings. Both a live and a silent auction will complete the evening. This fundraiser supports the March Field Museum Foundation Education Programs. Major event sponsors include Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley, Visterra Credit Union, Waste Management, Inc., the City of Riverside, Provident Bank, Southern California Gas Company, YourVilla Magazine, March JPA, Riverside Physician Network, Riverside Metro Auto Group, Ben Bridge Jeweler, Eastern Municipal Water District, Lowe’s, Moss Bros. and the Riverside Chamber of Commerce. The event begins at 5 p.m. Advance tickets are $45 per person and $55 per person on the day of the event. Those under the age of 20 and active military are $25.
