Senior Center Fall Festival Yields Laughs

The refreshments were spread out between two tables. Halloween cookies were available as well as apple cider and water.

The goal of the sweeping competition was to see who was able to get all the leaves off of the rug the fastest. The winner would receive a prize. Everyone would stop to cheer on the contest.

The stage was filled with handmade decorations. Each orange balloon had a face drawn on them and each had its own little bucket filled with leaves at the bottom.

Senior Citizens Coordinator Joseph L. Jones III was cheering on every participant. Even when the sweeping competitions would start everyone would root for the participants.

Everyone lined up to get the remaining treats at the refreshment tables as the festival came to an end.

This participant was sweeping a little too hard, and instead of sweeping the leaves ended up pushing the whole rug with it.
