REDLANDS >> Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside celebrated spring at the Burrage Mansion on April 7.
The kids played games, made crafts and had snacks at the Clubs’ annual Spring Fest, which was book themed this year. Partners manned the event for the third straight year. April is Starbucks’ Global Month of Service. Starbucks stores in San Bernardino and Riverside counties provided 150 volunteers and donated gift bags for the kids. Starbucks
Games and activities included a version of the Quidditch game from “Harry Potter”, Dr. Suess-themed games, “Captain America” shield cookie decorating in addition to “Spy School” and superhero photo booths. Each child also got a voucher for a free book.
