The Moreno Valley Master Chorale is now calling all singers to join the Chorale for the 2013–2014 choral season. The group will soon begin preparing for holiday concerts, which will include selections from Handel’s “Messiah,” Vivaldi’s “Magnificat,” and other popular holiday music. The Chorale is currently expanding, and new singers are welcome to join. Musical director Dr. Viorel Gheorghe is selecting choral music that can be accompanied by orchestra. He is very eager to greet new singers to the chorale, and is looking forward to directing a wonderful and challenging winter season of singing. Rehearsals are held at the Valley View High School Choir Room in Moreno Valley beginning Sept. 9 from 7–9 p.m. Rehearsals are Mondays from now through the last Monday in May of 2014. Youth internships are also available for students 16 to 21 years old. For singer application forms and more information, call 951-485-8414 or go online to www.morenovalleymasterchorale.org.
