Wednesday Oct. 28's announcement made California Baptist University two-for-two when it comes to earning Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week awards, as Joshua Hanson was selected as the most recent honoree. Hanson continued his hot start to the season by posting five victories and grabbing an NCAA Division II B-cut time in the 200-yard butterfly at the Malibu Invite two weeks ago. Those accolades earned the senior CBU's second RMAC Swimmer of the Week honor after Alexis Ohmar earned the first award, while Zach Parry was named Diver of the Week. In the Malibu Invite, competing against Division-I schools Pepperdine and Bakersfield, Hanson started with a win and consideration time of one minute, 50.71 seconds in the 200 fly and followed that with a 200-free victory in 1:41.51. He then rattled off victories in the 50 and 100 breast, with respective times of 57.39 and 26.99, and 100 individual medley (51:46) before adding a third-place finish in the 50 fly (22.85).
