MORENO VALLEY>> Floor & Décor, a leading specialty retailer in the hard surface flooring market, has leased a 1.1 million square foot distribution facility at 24101 Iris Avenue in Moreno Valley. The firm's expansion into Inland Southern California will create an estimated 65 jobs in Moreno Valley. Floor & Décor offers tile, wood, stone, along with tools and flooring accessories at low prices. The retailer is well known for buying directly from manufacturers and quarries worldwide, providing high quality products at competitive prices. Floor & Décor also offers free design services and provides a dedicated sales manager to help professionals get what they need to serve their clients. "We're thrilled that this quality company has selected Moreno Valley for its new 1.1 million sq. ft. center," said Mayor Yxstian A. Gutierrez. "We are very proud to welcome Floor & Décor and the job opportunities it will bring for our residents." Moreno Valley's Development Team, including the City Manager's Office, Community Development, Public Works and Economic Development, worked closely with the property owner of the March Business Center to secure the new company. Brian Robbins, Executive Vice President of Supply Chain & Global Sourcing for Floor & Décor, said he is enthusiastic about the firm's future in Moreno Valley. "We are excited to expand our distribution footprint in the greater Los Angeles area and specifically in Moreno Valley," he said. "We looked at other west coast opportunities, but felt our needs were best served, from a total cost opportunity, by Moreno Valley. It's just a great place to do business, especially the distribution business." Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, the company was founded in 2000 and operates retail stores across 17 states. California stores are located in Downey, Fullerton, Norco, Rocklin, Santa Ana and Woodland Hills. The Economic Development team will continue to work with Principal Financial Group on the soliciting tenants for the remaining building at March Business Center, with 277,243 square feet, located at 16415 Cosmos Street.
