The Moreno Valley Hound Town Dog Park recently received new signs on Redlands Blvd. helping point community members to the park and draw attention to this addition to the community, free to enjoy. The Parks & Recreation Commission worked tirelessly on obtaining better signage for the dog park so that people coming to the newly renovated dog park could find it. The park boasts a new doggie apparatus and two grassy fields, and even a couple of fake fire hydrants to make the dogs feel, "Right at Home." The park is adjacent to the Moreno Valley Equestrian Center. Commission Chair James C. Baker II, said the dog park has come a long way from where it was when it first opened, and he hopes that residents get out and enjoy the upgrades. "Hats off to the entire Parks staff for working diligently to complete this project. Without the staff's expertise and knowledge, this project would have taken a much longer," Baker said. The Commissioners and others took a tour last week to see first hand, how the park turned out.
