Three California Baptist University golfers added another award to their collection from 2014-15, with the announcement of the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars recently.
Natalie Park, Marvi Monsalve and Tayler Hoag each met the strict criteria to join the WGCA's prestigious list of 758 women's collegiate golfers. Each member of the 2014-15 All-American Scholar Team needed to post a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. The WGCA, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches.
All three golfers earned All-PacWest honors, while Hoag and Park also reaped all-tournament honors in the conference by virtue of a top-10 finish – Hoag taking fourth and Park sixth. Park was also named the PacWest Women's Golf Scholar Athlete of the Year after she logged a 3.94 GPA as a business administration major.
