Animal Shelter Holds St. Patrick's Day Event

MORENO VALLEY>> In honor of St. Patrick’s Day this Friday, the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Pet Adoption event Thursday, March 15 through Saturday, March 18. While the pet adoption event began on Tuesday, March 14, there are furry friends waiting to find a new home. The price to adopt a dog or puppy is $50 and $15 for a cat or kitten. The adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccines and HomeAgain Microchip. Pets adopted that have not been altered must stay for surgery and will be available to go home on the afternoon of the scheduled surgery. On Thursday, March 16 and Friday, March 17, pets will be available for adoption from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Those interested in adopting a pet on Saturday, March 18, can adopt between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley.
