The City of Moreno Valley, in partnership with the Moreno Valley Arts Commission, is excited to announce the launch of the Utility Box Art Program.
The Utility Box Art Program invites local artists to transform utility boxes throughout the city into works of art that celebrate Moreno Valley’s history, heritage, culture, and contemporary identity. Local artists can choose from 32 designated utility box locations and may submit more than one design.
“I encourage local artists to participate in this program,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “It’s a very unique way to express yourself, share your talents with the community, and celebrate Moreno Valley.”
Artists whose designs are approved may receive up to $500 per utility box. Applications are currently being accepted, and will continue to be available until all utility boxes are claimed. Apply today at www.moval.org/art.
