December 8, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 11650 Perris Blvd., Moreno Valley, CA 92557. Presented by the Moreno Valley Master Chorale & Orchestra and directed by Dr. Viorel Gheorghe.

Be sure to mark your calendars now to join us on Sunday, Dec. 8th when the Moreno Valley Master Chorale & Orchestra will present a holiday concert of Pergolesi’s “Magnificat,” featuring soprano soloists Dr. Camelia Voin, and Stephanie Steele. This concert will present the Christmas story with music representing “The Prophesy,” “The Annunciation,” The Birth,” “The Shepherds,” and “The Wiseman.” Some of the music for this story, will include several Christmas favorites: Rutter’s “Candlelight Carol,” “O Holy Night,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

One of the highlights of the concert will be an audience sing-a-long of several traditional Christmas carols accompanied by the chorale and orchestra. After the concert, the audience is invited to join the Chorale for an “After-Glow” fund raiser at Mimi’s Restaurant on Day Street in Moreno Valley.
