The Museum of Riverside is ready to snap! Come celebrate Nature Photography Day with us on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the SSgt. Salvador J. Lara Casa Blanca Library (2985 Madison Street, Riverside, CA 92504). Explore the Waterwise Garden and learn nature photography tips from museum staff and partners. Whether you're a professional, amateur, or hiker with a cell phone, we encourage you to snap photos of local wildlife. Our Curator of Natural History, Ian Wright, will discuss how uploading your photos to iNaturalist helps science and conservation. Bring your cameras or phones and have your photography questions answered. This free, family-friendly event welcomes all ages. Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday June 15!
