On Dec. 3, Mayor-Elect Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez led the annual District 4 Business Roundtable meeting at the March Inland Port Airport. The meeting is a unique opportunity for business leaders to meet with their City Council representative and Economic Development staff to engage in meaningful dialogue. It is designed specifically to develop relationships and work cooperatively to help business grow within the City. Economic Development Director Mike Lee provided attendees with an update on current development and business activity in Moreno Valley. Businesses representatives were provided the opportunity to share their thoughts on doing business in Moreno Valley and to network with one another. "A focus on business and business growth in Moreno Valley is very important to our future," says Mayor-Elect Dr. Gutierrez. "Job creation is the number one priority. With more jobs in Moreno Valley, quality of life for residents will improve." The Business Roundtable program is part of the City's Economic Development strategy to foster and maintain productive relationships with businesses. The meetings are held once per year in each of the City's five Council Districts. If you are not sure which City Council District your business is in, check the City's Council District webpage.
