Alejandra Jauregui Awarded 'Teacher of the Year'

Alejandra Jauregui, teacher at Badger Springs Middle School, has been selected as "Teacher of the Year" for Region 10 of the California League of Middle Schools (CLMS).
California League of Schools is a nonprofit educators' association encompassing the communities of California League of Middle Schools, California League of High Schools and California League of Elementary Schools.
Jauregui was recently awarded the honor at a ceremony held at the Riverside Marriott.
Jauregui teaches mathematics and has worked at Badger Springs Middle School for nine years.
“She represents all that is good about Badger Springs,” said Principal Jason Barney. “I am proud to serve alongside her.”
Jauregui now represents Region 10 at the state level at Sacramento in February.
