Residents throughout the Inland Empire can make donations at Ross stores to benefit area youth served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside.
Kicking off Feb. 8, the three-week program, "Open the Door to Great Futures," invites shoppers at seven Inland Empire Ross stores to make a monetary contribution at checkout, with 100 percent of the donations benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs Power Hour program, which provides an environment for members to complete their homework and receive tutoring after school.
“Ross is committed to supporting the youth in the communities we serve,” said Gary Cribb, executive vice president, Stores and Loss Prevention for Ross Stores, Inc. “We invite our customers to join us in donating...to help youth develop the study skills they need to excel in their studies and beyond.”
P.T. McEwen, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs, said he appreciates the support of companies like Ross.
“Ross is asking the community to directly support all the kids we serve through our Power Hour program, and we are grateful for their partnership in encouraging academic excellence,” McEwen said.
