The eighth annual UCR Botanic Gardens Art in the Gardens will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the UCR Botanic Gardens.  This free event helps raise funds for the outreach and education programs provided to the community, including thousands of school children annually.

This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase unique and beautiful art pieces (maybe shop early for the holidays!), enjoy light refreshments, and spend time exploring areas of the 40-acre Gardens including the Rose Garden, Butterfly Garden and Herb Garden.

The participating artists and artisans include: Daniel Almanza, ceramics; Lucile Arntzen, jewelry; Rich Briggs, musical instruments; Ellen Finan, fiber arts; Jenny Gagnon, decorated gourds; Jeanne Garcia, ceramic garden art; Bill Gardner, metal art; Nancy Jacobson, botanical ceramic tiles; Rebecca Kallinger, mosaics; E. Jennifer Katz, rustic silver jewelry; John Klure, ceramics; David Lines, fused glass; Julia Martinez, sumi-e ink painting; Michele McKee-Orsini, wood birdhouses; Catherine Morford, semi-precious stone jewelry; Dara Mosher, ceramics; Carol Pancner & Gary Stiler, pottery & succulent designs; Denise Rietz, stained glass stepping stones & garden art; Dave Struthers, handcrafted wood; Jerry Tieszen, wood vases & jewelry boxes; Susan Toscano, jewelry, Ed Traynor, pottery; Steve Walag, digital photography; Chris Walrath, fabric art; Gary Walrath, wood; Lauren Whitlock, watercolors; and Holly Wrangell, brass & copper boxes, jewelry.

Enjoy a day in the Gardens surrounded by nature and artwork!  UCR Botanic Gardens plants, swag and membership information will also be available.  Please visit https://gardens.ucr.edu for more information about the Gardens and this event, including a peak at some of the wares being offered by the artists.

Free admission!  Free parking in Lot 13, with shuttles available to and from Lot 13.
