Father's Day

Father’s Day gives us a chance to pause and recognize the men who have been there for us. Sometimes in big, visible ways, and often in the small, everyday moments that matter just as much. From fathers and grandfathers to mentors and role models, their influence shapes our lives in lasting ways.

Not every lesson comes in the form of words. Some of the most meaningful guidance comes from watching someone show up consistently, handle challenges with resilience, and put others first without expecting recognition. That steady presence can shape who we are in ways that last a lifetime.

In Moreno Valley, we’re fortunate to have so many individuals who take on that role at home, in schools, on the field, and throughout our neighborhoods. It’s also about honoring those who stepped in, lent a hand, or made a difference at just the right time. Coaches, teachers, neighbors, and friends all play a part in shaping the lives of others, and Father’s Day is a chance to recognize those contributions.

However you mark the occasion this year, I hope it includes a moment to acknowledge someone who has made a difference in your life. A quick call, a shared story, or even a simple “thank you” can carry more meaning than we realize.

To those who continue to lead, support, and inspire in their own way, today is a reflection of your impact. Your influence helps create a sense of stability and connection that benefits our entire community. It does not go unnoticed.
