The City of Moreno Valley encourages residents to submit applications for Military Appreciation Banners and Pavers by Monday, April 17.

The City installs Military Appreciation Banners and Pavers on streetlight poles around City Hall and March Air Reserve Base in support of local military personnel and their families. The program also promotes patriotism and pride throughout our community by recognizing residents who are currently serving or have served in the past.

The cost of designing, producing, and installing a banner on a streetlight pole is $190, and the nominee must be currently serving in the US military.

Military Pavers are located around the Veterans Memorial at the Moreno Valley Civic Center and are inscribed with the names of military veterans and active duty personnel, as well as their branch of service. The cost is $200, and the nominee must be currently serving in the US military or a veteran.

For more information and to access the application, please contact the City’s Parks & Community Services Department at 951.413.3701 or visit www.moval.org.
