The Inland Empire Alliance and Moreno Valley's Community Now, have joined the effort to get Duffel Bags to Foster Kids, courtesy of the "Together We Rise Program. Our First decoration and distribution was held on November 19th. Foster Children will be receiving newly decorated Duffel Bags instead of being giving plastic trash bags to store their belongings.

The program was introduced to former Park Commissioner James C. Baker II, by Lauren Weeks, Mrs. International, who in turned brought the program to the Community Now organization in conjunction with the IE Alliance and Kindness Program.

Participating in the bag decoration and stuffing on November 19 were, Mrs International Lauren Weeks from Hemet California, Kota Russell of the IE Alliance Kindness Program, Commissioner James C. Baker II, Titleholders, Miss Moreno Valley Brittan Baxter, Miss Teen Moreno Valley, Sarah Dunham, Miss Teen Perris Valley, Alaze Vega. ,and Titleholder Little Sister Marian.

Community Now has plans to continue this event quarterly on an ongoing basis, providing sorely needed Duffel Bags for local Foster Kids.
