Exclusive Report: Moreno Valley Residents Celebrated Freedom, Community and Progress
On Saturday, June 15, the MoVal community came together at the Civic Center Amphitheater and Main Lot to celebrate Juneteenth with outstanding musical acts, great food, fun, and games for the entire family!
This year’s event featured performances by Aurora Monroe School of Dance, New Foundation Church, NLAA Dare Dance Company, and a concert by The Groove Squad.
There was also a domino tournament and a kids' electric car racetrack hosted by Kids Car Club LA.

Danny Riggs’ widow, Sarah, along with his two kids, Steven and Kali, are pictured with Carrie Madrid and Pat Washburn, the director of the Men 2 Program. A $5,000 Adam’s Angels grant was awarded to the children of Danny Riggs, who sadly passed away from breast cancer.
