Get better prepared to help yourself and others during a disaster!

Through our free CERT training, the City provides information and hands-on training for citizens to help them better handle disasters and reduce the risk of hazards in and around the home.

CERT also teaches life-saving skills, with an emphasis on decision-making, rescuer safety, and doing the greatest good for the greatest number of people. Lifesaving skills include disaster medical, sizing up hazards, fire suppression, and light search and rescue.
