Mayor's Message: Civic Center Amphitheater

By Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

The City of Moreno Valley has become a leader among cities in Riverside County. As Mayor, it has been my honor to lead our City Team by delivering balanced budgets, innovative programs, award-winning services, and beautiful new parks and facilities. One of the most exciting new City facilities is our Civic Center Amphitheater.

The Civic Center Amphitheater is the premier outdoor venue in Riverside County. The Amphitheater has attracted visitors from every corner of the Inland Empire, but it’s the residents of Moreno Valley that have made it a celebrated destination. Tens of thousands of MoVal residents have already flocked to the Amphitheater to enjoy movies, concerts, and celebrations.

As the City’s MoVal Summer Series culminates this week, I would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to experience the Civic Center Amphitheater and all that it has to offer. On Thursday, July 29, at 6:00 p.m., the MoVal Rocks Concert Series welcomes the Motown favorite, Stone Soul. Stone Soul will play a variety of Classic Soul hits. On Friday, July 30, at 8:00 p.m., the Amphitheater will host a special Food Truck Fest and will conclude with a screening of the family favorite, Onward.

Projects like the Civic Center Amphitheater are only possible because of the hard work and collaboration between Moreno Valley’s City Council, Staff, and our community.

When we work together, we are stronger than ever.
