Mayor's Message: Springtastic Festival & Egg Hunt

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

The writer Laura Ingalls Wilder once said about Spring, “Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat.”

Spring is also the time when Moreno Valley comes alive with exciting outdoor events that are fun for the entire family.

This coming Wednesday, I will be on hand to dedicate Santiago Park, Moreno Valley’s 33rd and newest park. Join the City Council and me as we officially open this incredible park on Wednesday, March 23.

The Springtime fun continues on Saturday, April 2, when our annual Springtastic Festival & Egg Hunt returns to Sunnymead Park.

Springtastic is one of my favorite events. This year, we’ll have fantastic festival games, an egg hunt, a Youth Fun Zone, delicious food trucks, and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself. The event runs from 9 am to noon.

Our Soaring Activity Guide has so many fun and exciting events throughout the season. It’s the ultimate guide to events, classes, programs, and more throughout Moreno Valley. Check out our latest edition of the Soaring guide here.

With new parks and exciting open-air events, Moreno Valley is full of family-friendly fun that will make Spring a season to remember.
