Mayor's Weekly Message 38

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

The City of Moreno Valley is breaking ground on our new Civic Center Amphitheater and Park – and you’re invited!

The City’s first outdoor amphitheater is just another way we are continuing to expand arts and culture across Moreno Valley and improve the quality of life for residents and visitors.

The amphitheater fulfills a commitment by the Moreno Valley City Council through its strategic plan “Momentum MoVal” to add additional cultural and recreational opportunities.

The City’s newest venue will be located next to the Conference and Recreation Center at 14075 Frederick Street.

The amphitheater will provide seating for up to 600 people along with a stage complete with a backdrop and an audio-visual pavilion, providing the perfect venue to showcase a variety of live music performances, movies in the park and many other City-sponsored events.

The project also includes adding trees and other landscaping to the seven-acre lot along with parking for nearly 400 vehicles, making it a beautiful – and convenient – space.

The Civic Center Amphitheater will be available to be rented out by the public.

Help us celebrate another wonderful Moreno Valley project by joining us at the groundbreaking.

See you there!
