Don’t wait until disaster hits to be prepared.

The City of Moreno Valley is making it easy for you to receive emergency notifications, and be given disaster training to help prepare you and your loved ones for emergencies.

Alert MoVal, City of Moreno Valley’s Emergency Alert and Warning Notification System, quickly sends notifications to all residents and businesses in an affected area when there's an emergency or disaster.

You can choose to receive notifications through your landline, mobile device, text message and/or email.

Sign up online today - it's quick and easy.

For phones, Alert MoVal automatically calls listed and unlisted landline telephone numbers in the affected area and delivers a recorded message. If phone lines are busy, the system redials those telephone numbers in an attempt to make contact. If an answering machine picks up the call, the emergency message is left on the machine.

The City of Moreno Valley assumes no responsibility if an emergency message cannot be delivered or is not received.
