For the last six years, the City of Moreno Valley has enjoyed a balanced budget. We were recently named a top ranked Fiscally Strong City in the Nation by the Fiscal Times.
Input from residents on how they want tax dollars spent is an essential element of crafting our next two-year budget that best serves the community.
Join the City’s financial experts on Wednesday, February 20, to learn about how the City’s budget process works – and take the opportunity to ask questions.

And while you’re thinking about budgeting, try out Balancing Act, an interactive, online tool that allows users to try their hand at creating a balanced city budget while providing valuable feedback on your service and spending priorities.
Information collected through Balancing Act will help guide the city as it develops its FY 2019/20 and 2020/21 budget.
Balancing Act also helps residents understand the city’s budgeting process, including how tax dollars are generated, where they are spent, and who is responsible for making those decisions.
