Mayor's Weekly Message 67

Dear Moreno Valley Residents:

I can tell you from experience that volunteering in our community is incredibly rewarding and the City of Moreno Valley is making it easier than ever to find volunteer opportunities.

Last year, we launched MyMoVal.org, an interactive website designed to connect residents with volunteer opportunities available throughout our city. This incredible resource allows our residents and businesses to work together to improve the quality of life for everyone.

Organizations looking for volunteers can easily post their local charitable events on My MoVal and attract helping hands like yours to their efforts.

In addition to those posted on My MoVal, we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities with the city including:

· Animal Shelter

· Clerical/Secretarial

· Emergency Response Force

· Ham Radio Operators

· Library

· MVTV-3 Government Access Television Channel

· Park Ranger

· Recreation Coach

Please join me in volunteering to serve our community. Visit www.MyMoVal.org or the city’s website and apply today.  You can make a world of difference!
