Dear Moreno Valley Residents,
As a community, it’s essential to ensure that Moreno Valley remains a beautiful place to live and thrive. We’ve done a lot of work to make that happen.
We recently won an Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP) award for our turf removal and drought-tolerant landscaping program, and we were once again named a Tree City USA.
Our 34 parks continue to be beautifully maintained and act as natural refuges for residents to spend a fun and healthy day outdoors.
This Earth Day, I encourage you to celebrate with us on Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our new Community Demonstration Garden.
Our Earth Day celebration will feature environmental organizing booths, raffles, workshops, and many more Earth-friendly activities.
We’ll even offer tours of our Community Demonstration Garden, allowing you to see firsthand what we’re doing to keep Moreno Valley beautiful.
Our Community Demonstration Garden is an oasis of sustainable gardening right here at Moreno Valley City Hall. You can take classes from UCR’s master gardeners and learn the best practices on how to create your own perfect garden.
The Community Demonstration Garden is located behind the Conference & Recreation Center at 14075 Frederick Street.
