Mayor's Weekly Message: Congratulations to the Class of 2023!

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

As summer arrives and the school year ends, I want to congratulate the hundreds of seniors graduating from high schools throughout Moreno Valley this year.

The class of 2023 is a special one. You fought hard and kept your studies going amid difficult times brought forth by a global pandemic.

Your resilience in the face of adversity has made you ready to take on the world.

Your graduation is a huge step toward your future, and the possibilities are endless. Your best days are ahead, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

As a proud Valley View High School graduate, my advice to you is this: aim high but keep yourself grounded.

Never forget the community around you; always try your best to uplift the people in your life as you ascend to greater heights.

To honor this year’s graduating class, the M on Box Springs Mountain will be lit in the colors of every Moreno Valley high school from June 5 to June 8.

As you move on to your next stage of life, I hope you look at the M and know that Moreno Valley is cheering you on every step of the way.

Congratulations to the class of 2023!
