Dear Moreno Valley Residents,
Moreno Valley has a proud tradition of good stewardship over our parks.
Our 34 parks are meticulously maintained by our Parks Maintenance staff and the community volunteers who enjoy them. And we’re hard at work on a $6 million rehabilitation project covering each park across Moreno Valley.
It’s no wonder why we have some of the finest parks in Riverside County!
A huge part of why our parks are so great is our Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service, which is returning on Saturday, August 12, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Beautify MoVal is a great way to give back to your community, meet your neighbors, and contribute to the enduring beauty of our parks.
Since this program began two years ago, I have worked alongside many smiling faces painting curbs, raking leaves, planting trees, and more.
This time, we will beautify the Hidden Springs Passive Nature Park and Hidden Springs Park in District Two and El Potrero Park in District Four.
Join us at 8 a.m. in front of City Hall for free coffee, pastries, and fun before we set out to maintain the beauty of our parks!
Visit moval.org/beautify to learn more and to sign up. I’ll see you there!
