Message From the Mayor

Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

As your Mayor, I am committed to continually reaching out for public input. We do that in a variety of ways, including the Telephone Town Hall Meeting. The next one is set for Wednesday, January 15, and to participate, all you have to do is provide your phone number and then answer your phone when I call at 6 p.m. Once we’re connected, you can just listen for all or part of the hour-long question-and-answer session, or join in and ask a question in English or Spanish.

Register for the call on the Telephone Town Hall web page at moval.org/telephonetownhall/ or by emailing telephonetownhall@moval.org.  Registration will close at 1 p.m. on January 15.

We started hosting Telephone Town Hall Meetings a couple of years ago, and they’ve become pretty popular. They allow busy residents the opportunity to engage with their city government without having to come to City Hall for a meeting. That means people with responsibilities to others, such as parents or caregivers, or commuters still headed home, or residents with limited mobility can all now join in the ongoing conversation about the direction of our city. The Telephone Town Hall Meeting brings new voices into that conversation, and that’s a good thing.

I hope you’ll take a minute and register to join the conversation!
