Metrolink’s Arrow Service for Just $1 in February and March

Customers will be able to board Metrolink’s Arrow service for just $1 throughout February and March and travel round-trip between any combination of Arrow stations along the nine-mile route connecting the cities of San Bernardino and Redlands. This limited-time promotion, made possible in partnership with the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA), is exclusive to the Arrow service and does not extend to other portions of Metrolink’s system, including nearby San Bernardino Line stations.

“Metrolink and SBCTA have a long history of partnering on transportation solutions that benefit San Bernardino County communities,” Metrolink Board Director, SBCTA Board President and Chino Hills City Council Member Ray Marquez said. “Teaming up to offer $1 fares on the Arrow service is another win for our residents. It’s a deal for those who use Arrow regularly and a great opportunity for newcomers to see firsthand how the system can connect them to work, school, family and more.”

The discounted fare is supported by grant funding through the Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP), which is administered by Caltrans. While the promotion is active, students with a valid student ID can continue to use Arrow for free with Metrolink’s Student Adventure Pass. Additionally, kids 17 and under ride free on weekends with a paying adult, making family travel more affordable and convenient.

Arrow launched in October 2022 and serves five stations: Redlands-University, Redlands-Downtown, Redlands-Esri, San Bernardino-Tippecanoe and San Bernardino-Downtown where riders can connect to Metrolink’s San Bernardino and Inland Empire-Orange County lines. Last Monday, Jan. 27, Metrolink introduced an updated Arrow schedule to align with changes implemented concurrently on the San Bernardino Line. The new schedule is available at metrolinktrains.com/scheduleupdate.

Arrow tickets can be purchased at station ticket machines or through the Metrolink mobile app, and customers can transfer to the Omnitrans system for free at the San Bernardino-Downtown Station. For information about other connecting transit providers, riders are encouraged to visit the San Bernardino Transit Center.

Additional details about the Arrow service are available at metrolinktrains.com/arrow.
