Moreno Valley City Flag Design Competition

It’s your chance to make history, MoVal! We’re inviting residents of all ages to help us redesign our City flag, which will fly high for generations to come. The contest runs from August 11 through October 13. I can’t wait to see the pride and creativity that our community brings to the table.

The theme for the contest is, “Having pride in our City’s past, present, and future.”

Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a student learning about design, or simply someone who loves Moreno Valley, this is your opportunity to use your imagination and creativity to design our new flag.

Keep in mind, the best flags are simple, meaningful, and timeless. Think bold colors, clear symbols, and designs that anyone could recognize at a glance. Our City’s motto, “Where Dreams Soar,” is a great place to draw inspiration. Above all, we want designs that capture the heart and spirit of MoVal.

Submissions will be accepted through October 13, and the top three designs will go to the City Council for final judging. Winners will receive cash prizes for their pieces.

Whether you’re submitting your entry at City Hall or online, this is your chance to shape our future. I know our community’s creativity will soar just as high as our dreams!

You can find additional contest and application details at moval.org/flag.
