Families throughout Moreno Valley are being encouraged to participate in the city's expanded Summer Reading Program, which offers educational activities, reading challenges, and family-friendly events designed to keep students engaged during the school break.

The program includes age-specific reading goals, interactive workshops, and special guest presentations aimed at promoting literacy and lifelong learning. Library officials say participation helps students maintain reading skills during the summer months while providing a fun and rewarding experience.

Parents have welcomed the opportunity to keep children active and learning during the break.

"Programs like this help make reading exciting for kids," said one Moreno Valley parent attending a recent library event.

The program is open to residents of all ages and continues throughout the summer.
