MoVal Parks & Community Services Launches Virtual Play Site

By Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce

Normally, the City of Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services Department provides hundreds of classes and recreation opportunities for residents of all ages. But with everyone trying to save lives by staying home, Parks has launched a Virtual Play web page with dozens of activities and resources for all ages to try to keep residents engaged while we wait out the crisis.

"For residents looking for an engaging diversion, especially for children, this new site provides a variety of safe online activities," said Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley.

Residents can find links to many games, crafts, fitness activities and other learning resources in one convenient location. From printable coloring sheets, to story time, to virtual tours, the site offers an abundance of online activities and entertainment.

The Parks & Community Services Department will also post weekly contests with prizes on the City of Moreno Valley social media pages. Be sure to frequent the pages to enter the contests. Links to all City social media accounts are available at www.moval.org/social.

The MoVal Virtual Play page is at www.moval.org/mvp
