Exclusive Report: Thousands of Moreno Valley Residents and Boxing Fans Gather to Welcome Robert Garcia Boxing Academy's Newest Location

 

On Saturday, March 8, Mayor Ulises Cabrera, Mayor Pro Tem Elena Baca-Santa Cruz, and the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon at the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy.

 

Founded by 1998 Super Featherweight Champion Boxer and 2024 Trainer of the Year, Robert Garcia, this boxing gym will train and develop MoVal youth, local amateurs, and professional boxers to be champions both in and out of the ring. 

 

Fans attending the ribbon cutting got a first look at the new state-of-the-art gym and met some of their favorite boxing champions.
