New Year's Message

By Ulises Cabrera, City of Moreno Valley Mayor

As 2024 comes to an end at the stroke of midnight tonight, I can’t help but reflect on this amazing last year and look ahead to the exciting possibilities that await us. The new year is a chance to continue our momentum, or even create a fresh start with renewed energy.

From the Beautify MoVal events, to the refurbishments of our dozens of parks, to supporting and growing the local business community, we’re all working together to build a Moreno Valley that’s stronger, more vibrant, and more connected than ever. I am grateful for our dedicated City staff and council members, who work tirelessly to make sure Moreno Valley is moving forward.

We’re excited to turn the page to 2025, where new projects, events, and initiatives aimed at making our City even more vibrant, strong, and united await us. I also want to thank each of our beloved residents for the role you play in our community. Through volunteering, supporting local businesses, and showing up for our events, your passion for the City and our community are pivotal reasons why Moreno Valley continues to soar to new heights.

May your 2025 be filled with success, happiness, and the warmth of family and friends. I am truly grateful to be on this journey with each of you, and I can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together during our next trip around the sun.

Happy New Year, Moreno Valley!
