On February 1st and February 8th, Moreno Valley Park Commissioner James C. Baker took on double duty, crafting two distinctive parade floats to kick off this year's Black History Month celebrations.

These vibrant floats added a festive touch to the parades, which featured local school marching bands, various groups, organizations, and a host of public officials and dignitaries.

The parades were blessed with clear skies on both days, enhancing the visual spectacle. Congratulations are due to the parade organizers and the cities of San Bernardino and Riverside for orchestrating such memorable events.

These celebrations vividly showcase the ongoing vitality of Black History.
