Our Pet of the Week is Shilo, a female, two-year-old, black and white Border Collie mix.

Shilo will melt your heart with her inquisitive gaze and playful nature. She absolutely loves to play catch, fetch, and just about any other sport that involves a tennis ball. She knows several tricks and is eager to learn more. As an added bonus, she's good on a leash and enjoys going on outdoor hikes and long walks!

If you would like to make Shilo, or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, part of your family, please call 951.413.3790 or visit moval.org/pets.

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley.

Note: Our featured pets tend to get adopted very quickly when they are shared in our newsletter and on social media. If they have already been adopted when you inquire, please consider one of the other loving pets in the shelter who are also looking for their forever homes.

For pets that are underage, underweight, or showing signs of illness, a refundable spay and neuter deposit of $75 shall be paid at the time of adoption. This deposit is refundable upon showing proof that the animal has been sterilized by a licensed veterinarian. If, for any other reason, the pet does not work out with your family, you can return the animal within thirty (30) days. If you return the animal for a non-medical reason, you will only be refunded the deposit portion. Veterinary service fees are not refundable. Adopting is easier than you think. Our dedicated team is here to guide you through every step, ensuring a perfect match for your family and lifestyle.
