In a heartwarming gesture of support, Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino (FARSB) expressed profound appreciation to The Rauch Family Foundation for their remarkable generosity, securing the continuity of the food bank’s Grab n' Go and Nutrition Market Programs through grant funding across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties throughout the fiscal year 2023-2024.
“Thanks to the generous support of the Rauch Family Foundation, these programs will continue to thrive through at least June 2024, ensuring high-quality food reaches healthcare centers and local schools,” stated Jacqueline Arias, Programs Director.
A Redlands Unified School District parent who benefits from the Grab n’ Go Program said, “My husband is the sole provider in our house, and though he makes enough money for us to pay rent and other bills, there are days when we don’t have enough for food.” She added, “These boxes have helped in these days of need.”
Established in 1989 by Dudley and Ceci Rauch, The Rauch Family Foundation, based in Southern California, supports programs in specific focus areas that are transformational, evidence-based, and cost-effective. Recognizing the urgency of addressing food insecurity and driving positive change, they are aiding us in providing our residents with nutritious food for success.
In the Inland Empire, more than 800,000 individuals live below the poverty line, with over 400,000 experiencing food insecurity. As the largest hunger relief organization in the Inland Empire, FARSB supports a community of over 100,000 individuals who rely on donations like this to access nourishing meals. The Rauch Family Foundation's thoughtful contribution will profoundly and positively impact countless families and children in our region.

About Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino
Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino (FARSB) is leading the fight against hunger in the Inland Empire by providing food access, emergency relief, education, and advocacy to families in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. FARSB opened in 1980 as Survive Food Bank in response to the increasing concern about the dual problems of hunger and food waste in the Inland Empire. Today, FARSB is the primary food source for over 250 local nonprofit organizations, distributing over two million pounds of food monthly to emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, high-need elementary schools, senior centers, after-school programs, and more. With the help of these community partners, they make up the largest hunger-relief organization serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, ultimately making food security a reality for over one million households every year.
