The Board of Directors Secretary for the RCCD Foundation Ted Cooper visited several MVUSD schools with Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora, Board of Education Vice President Jesús Holguín and Clerk Cleveland Johnson on Wednesday. The tour stopped at Vista del Lago High School's new manufacturing and logistics lab, Vista Heights Middle School and Canyon Springs High School's International Baccalaureate programs and Edgemont Elementary School to see their new building and Maker Spaces.

The foundation helps advance the academic and economic development priorities of the RCCD colleges, including Moreno Valley College. Moreno Valley Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Martinrex Kedziora serves on the RCCD Foundation Board of Directors.

“Moreno Valley College and Riverside Community College District partner with MVUSD in many ways,” said Superintendent Kedziora, “Visits like this give RCCD Foundation a first-hand look at the learning in our schools and allows us to have better collaboration on programs and offerings to our students.”

"We are always happy to open our schools to community partner visits," said Board Vice President Jesus Holguin, "We have wonderful programs and our partnerships like the one with RCCD only make our schools stronger."
